Andy Warhols's type of pop art uses many bright colors where as Lichten only uses the primary colors in his art.

Photomontage1

David Hockney

Photomontage is the process and the result of making a composite photograph by cutting and joining two or more photographs into an illusion of an unreal subject. Sometimes the resulting composite image is photographed so that a final image may appear as a seamless photographic print.

Hockney's main medium is drawing and painting.

Hockney is fascinated in how we make images and the process of image making.

Hockney would have to take many images from different angles to create these photo montages.

Hockney created many of these images to show how we view space and time.

David Hockney was always interested in how we made 3d objects into 2d images.
